What a great Opening Weekend we have had so far!
It has been really nice to see familiar faces and meet new people!
*We have a nice selection of 2-yr old roses that are
now ready to go to their new homes!
Although their root systems are more developed than the 2012 varieties, we have decided to offer them
to our early bird customers so they can take advantage of buying a more established rose for
the price of a 1-yr rose! We feel that It is good for our customers and good for our roses!
(Unfortunately, not all varieties are available as 2-yr old roses.)
(The 2012 roses will be ready to go home in a few weeks!)

Now that your roses have leafed up, be sure to feed them monthly with a good balanced fertilizer.
We have found that either David Austin's English Rose Food or Rose Tone work really well on English Roses!
If you need instructions on how to plant your new roses, just stop by! Joanne will be happy to provide you with all the information you need to become successful in gardening with English Roses...
whether you have one rose or one hundred!!

| David Austin English RosesEnglish roses are a cross between old fashioned roses and modern roses. They have the exquisite flower form of the older varietes, and the wider color range of the modern floribundas and hybrid tea roses. They are bred to have an attractive bushy shape, and to bloom repeatedly throughout the growing season. Most importantly, they are fragrant!
Snowball, one of our favorite chickens, loves to explore the Shade Garden and nibble on our hostas on a regular basis.
