A beautiful rose with very large, saucer-like flowers filled with over a hundred small, frilly petals; the petals in each bloom are arranged around a central button eye.

The blooms are a lovely shade of pure soft pink at the centre, gradually fading to palest pink at the edges.
It flowers freely and repeats very quickly.

There is a strong pure myrrh fragrance.

A vigorous variety, ‘St. Swithun’ forms a tall shrub with slightly stiff, bushy growth – ideal for the back of the border. The greyish-green leaves are large, smooth and highly disease-resistant. It is particularly tough, reliable and healthy.

Named after St. Swithun, Bishop of Winchester.
